I thought it was a brilliant idea when Albert Avellana of Avellana Art Gallery in Manila, invited me to participate in a show at Capitana Gallery, which brought together the work of Filipino artists who are all currently based outside of the Philippines. The show evolves around the idea of "distance sans detachment", where the artists had to mail their pieces from their respective locales, represented by their postage stamp on the show's invite.
The show runs from November 26, 2010 to January 31, 2011 at Capitana Gallery in Negros Occidental, Philippines.
